To assist restaurants in installing sidewalk and roadway cafes for the Dining Out NYC program,
the City of New York (the “City”) has compiled an optional directory of local and national
suppliers and fabricators of outdoor dining setups, vendors offering installation and
storage services, products, and designs tested by the City in its Setup Menu Prototype
project (the “Directory”).This Directory is meant to be a helpful resource and is not a
requirement for the Dining Out NYC program, restaurants may choose vendors or products at their own discretion.
The City has also made available for download drawings from the Dining Out NYC Setup Menu Prototype project
that were prepared by a registered design professional.
Please be advised that neither the City, nor any agency, officer, or employee of the City guarantees the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any information or drawings published in this Directory, nor endorses any contents, products, or services linked from this Directory.
The user of this Directory agrees that the City, and any agency, officer, or employee of the City, shall not be held liable for any losses caused by reliance on the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of such information on third-party websites or drawings linked from this Directory. Portions of such information or drawings linked in this Directory may be incorrect or not current. Any person or entity that relies on any information or drawings obtained from this Directory does so at their own risk.
Every restaurant participating in the Dining Out NYC program is responsible for ensuring that their sidewalk or roadway cafe complies with all requirements of the Dining Out NYC program, including the design requirements contained in Chapter 5 of Title 34 of the Rules of the City of New York.
